Halloween Costumes!

This was so fun! I was a flapper from the 1920's for Halloween this year (Just in case there were flappers in another era I guess :) This was at the law school halloween party. Sadly husband was out of town for work.

Here I am with Roz who was a pirate, Laura who was obviously a peacock, and Nikki who was also a pirate.

I love Roz, she is so funny.

Fall Visitors

Ben, Glade, and Eowyn came to visit us again this fall. We love seeing you guys so much. It was really fun. Here we are up at Green Bluff getting pumpkins, and pumpkin doughnuts, and apple cider, among other things :)

Eowyn is so cute, despite a little grumpiness among the pumpkins.

Doesn't this look like a picture from the 70's.

What a wonderful family. I can't wait to meet the next little Hardebeck :)

Bonnie also came to see us this fall. Here we are on a walk through Manito Park. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful mother in law.

Mizuna

Ryan and I had dinner at Mizuna in the late summer. I have always wanted to eat here, it was fabulous! We love trying new local restaurants it's one of our favorite things to do on a date.

They have outdoor seating in a little alley way, so Lady and the Tramp huh. I mean the alley way, not us :)

Mexican Getaway

Here are some pics from Ryan and my little getaway to Nueva Vallarta. It was such a blessing, and we had a really amazing time. Vacations are so important.

Here we are waiting in the San Diego airport. For some reason this trip did not feel real at all until we got off the plane in Mexico. I think because we have not been anywhere tropical since our honeymoon. Does anyone else take as many self photos as us?

The resort was sooo pretty.

This was so cool, the lounge chairs were actually in a shallow part of the pool.

Beautiful Sunset :)

Here we are night swimming. The ocean was like bath water.

We went into Puerta Vallarta this day. Ryan was really excited about the knock off Oakley's that he found :)

Here is the boardwalk area in town. We had really good mexican food here. Actually we had really good mexican food everywhere. Yum.

Ryan relaxing in Paradise.

Sweet Nephew

Ryan and I were so happy to meet the newest addition to our family, little Jacob. We got to meet him when he was 10 days old, and he is completely beautiful. I truly wish we were closer at important times like these, but we will be soon. We are thrilled for Kyle and Chelsie, and cannot wait to see him again!

Tomatoes Galore!

I am so proud of this! Here is my first of harvest of tomatoes. I grew these "mexico midget" heirloom tomatoes in a pot on my apartment balcony. They are seriously a different product than what you buy at the grocery store, soooo much more flavorful! I cannot wait to have a yard to have flowers and a vegi garden. Someday soon, sigh.

Family Ocean Trip

The fam took a long weekend and stayed at the My Aunt Carol's house near the beach. It was so much fun, and seriously much needed family time.

My nephew Lucas is seriously the cutest boy ever. I am in love!

Lukie and Brooke.

I love my sister, she is such a beauty.

This is Beck and Cole flying kites. He is getting so big! He looks cute in his Dad's shades here.

Me and my love on the jetty.

Dad and Chris out on the jetty. Chris was finding caves and crawling through. I had a really great time with my brother this weekend.

Sister feet :)

Mom and Dad on the beach.

Cole does not like people taking pictures of him for some reason, so I got this after four tries, and I had to bribe him with chocolate. He is cheesing it up here.

All four of us on the beach.

Look at that smile!

Nueva Vallarta Here We Come!

We are leaving for Mexico in under two weeks I cannot believe it. This vacation is soooo needed. Look at the hotel! It is so pretty. Does anyone who has been to Puerta Vallarta have any suggestions, i.e. good places to eat, to explore etc?

4th of July/Mom & Dad's Visit

Mom and Dad came to visit for a few days over the 4th of July weekend, and we had such a great time. Here are some pics of their visit and some of my favorite places in Spokane.

In honor of our independence, here is the fruit pizza that I made. How patriotic, huh.

I gave Mom and Dad a tour of school, here are a few pics from that.

I love that verse on the wall. When we were trying to decide between law schools, this was something that really confirmed to me that were supposed to be at Gonzaga.

Isn't this so pretty! This is the English garden at Manito Park. Mom loved this. By the way, look how good my mom looks! She has really been focusing on her health, and she feels and looks so great.

We went out for a fancy dinner, at one of my favorite restraunts called Luna. I love the interior of this place, it is very antique french country. Dad and Ryan both got the rack of lamb.

I love them. Thanks for coming Mom and Dad :)
