One Month Down

We have been here for over a month now, and I feel like we are really adjusting to Spokane. I miss home, but this is such a great place for us to be. We have been finding great restaurants, including a bakery for my beloved crossiants. Today we took a long walk in Manito park. It was so beautiful. It is 90 acres, of rose gardens, and ponds, and you don't even feel like you are in the middle of a city.

That's how I feel about our apartment too. We are about five minutes from everything, but its just enough away, and with a park across the street that we don't really feel like we live in the city. It's real cute too. I love the hardwood floors!

Luckily we are close to the hospital too. We both got so sick last week that we had to take a day off (this is risky in law school) I thought that it was food poisoning, but the ER doctor said it was some kind of flu virus. It was terrible, we were up all night taking turns throwing up, and I got so dehydrated that they had to put in an iv in to give me fluids. A few days later, we heard about the ecoli found in spinach, and we eat spinach all of the time. Maybe?? Were feeling great now though.

Only One More Week

Ryan and I started packing yesterday! Well actually it was my sisters and I doing the packing. I have a ridiculous amount of candles. Only one more week in Maple Valley, so sad. We are starting to get excited for a new place though. So many changes can be really stressful, but I know God is in this move. We put a deposit down on a great apartment in this old historic building, but we are still looking for something in a house. I really like the South Hill area, part of it reminds me of Madison Park, which makes me very happy. Please come and visit us soon.

Wish we were in Maui

This is a picture of us on our honeymoon. I want palm trees, not our dead lawn.

Here We Are

We have offically joined the blogging world now that most of our family and friends will no longer live within ten minutes of us. We are moving in about one month!! I have been accepted to Gonzaga for law school, and Ryan and I are relocating to Spokane. We wanted to start this blog so that we could keep you all updated on us. We are getting excited for this new adventure.
